Boys Varsity Swimming

  PHU BOYS SWIM  took 8 members of the boys swim team to compete at the LCN Invitational Meet held on February 26, 2019 Our 200 Medley Relay Team of Ty and Wyatt Minton, Jon Beerbower, and Andrew Miller  placed 5th and dropping 2.51 seconds for a new time of 1:51.45. In the 200 Free Jon Beerbower finished 8th with a time of 2:04.88 and Zach Stein dropping 5.22 seconds for a new PR of 2:24.06. Joe Lozano was 9th in the 200 IM dropping 2.14 seconds and a new PR of 2:39.91. In the 50 free there were 111 swimmers with Ty Minton placing 11th, Andrew Miller placing 19th, and Danny Kennedy finishing 50th with a new PR of 27.05. In the 100 Fly Jon Beerbower finished 5th. Out of 73 swimmers in the 100 Free, Ty Minton placed 3rd and Nolan Odom dropped 1.22seconds, setting a new PR of 1:01.91. The 200 Free Relay of Andrew Miller, Nolan Odom, Jon Beerbower, and Ty Minton placed 6th with a 2.16 second time drop. For the 100 Back we had Danny Kennedy and Joe Lozano both finishing just off of their personal best times and placing 20 and 22 out of 38. We had 3 swimmers in the 100 Breast with Wyatt Minton achieving another PR of 1:10.91 dropping 0.77 seconds, Andrew MIller swam this event for the 1st time placing 16, and Nolan Odom dropped 3.93 seconds for a new PR of 1:20.94. Finally, the 400 Free Relay of Zach Stein, Nolan Odom, Danny Kennedy, and Joe Lozano finished 9th.
